HAVE YOU EVER WANTED... TO BUILD A CUB ?
The famous Piper J-3 Cub, "Plane Passion" always faithful. He has influenced a whole generation of pilot, who was 20 years old in 1945. Then by impregnating by pilot to pilot and the fact that hundreds of Cub fly again, the nice little two-seater tandem has won a place of its own. Very successful in the modest range, the pompous initiales has not need to be a light aircraft, efficient, safe and low fuel consumption.

But now, despite the efforts of many pilots and collectors, the number of Cub is reduced gradually by the force of things. So what? The obvious solution is of course the amateur-built from plans package or the ultralight aircraft (ULM) in kit form or ready to fly.

These are the solutions proposed by André Bréand and RepliCub to all pilots-amateur-builders, by distributing bundles of plans that allow the production of exact and modernized replicas not only of the Piper J-3 Cub and its variations (version military L-4 and PA-11), but also of the Piper PA-18 Super Cub and soon the Voyager, a replica of PA-15/17 and also a "Light" version of this airplane classified in ULM category.

For each aircraft André Bréand/RepliCub release a bundle of plans "upgraded" in A3 format with CAD software AutoCAD Mechanical Desktop 2011 and Autodesk Inventor Professional 2011. These plans set are available in either metric - which facilitates the manufacture for french homebuilders - or imperial measurements allowing to insert components and structural parts marketed by U.S. companies.

The aircraft built from these plans will be an exact Cub replica, except the name of the manufacturer. Nothing dont differentiate authentic Piper J-3 Cub, from a Cub, Cub Special or Super Cub straight out of the assembly lines in Lock Haven, there are over 70 years ...!
